Reminder of session 1:In session 1, we reviewed different web technologies and tools. We recommend Typora to create directly web-compatible content.
Goal: The second session will show you not only how to create a Word-like document for the web, but a also a Powerpoint-like document without knowledge of HTML 4 or 5, CSS 3 or Javascript. You will have also an overview of a methodology to create your first quiz. All your documents need to be integrated among others, you will then learn [again] how to add metadata within the proposed architecture.
Key tools: Typora (software), Markdown (intermediate markup language) before conversion to HTML, examples of metadata
At the end of this session, you should know how to:
Use WinSCP to upload files
Manage intermediate lectures in your partner folder
Create a DOC-like document with Typora
Create a PPT-like document with Typora
Create a menu-like enabling the learner to choose between alternatives (i.e., linking your documents)
Create/update metadata (format FitNESS 1)
Mix real PPT files (converted by us) with content created with approaches from sessions 1 and 2
Date of this session: Thursday, June 23, 2022.
